Tiana, a native of Las Vegas, NV, completed her education at Arbor View High School before earning a Bachelor of Science in Community Health Sciences with an emphasis in Public Health from the University of Nevada, Reno and her Masters in Public Administration with an emphasis in Healthcare Management from Grand Canyon University. With over 10 years of dedicated experience in a variety of health programs including; HIV prevention and treatment, she has contributed significantly to the advancement of HIV decriminalization laws, reproductive services, and health center service standards for national organizations. Tiana has played a pivotal role in the development of crisis response programs within Nevada's crisis response system and has collaborated with the CDC Foundation on ongoing initiatives addressing various public health concerns. Currently serving as the Grant Writer for the Southern Nevada Health District she is driven by her unwavering commitment to community welfare,.
Tiana recognized the pressing need to support non-profits, small businesses, and community leaders in accessing diverse funding opportunities. Her goal is to empower individuals and organizations, demonstrating that securing grant funding is attainable. Having resided in Reno, NV for 5 years and engaged with numerous rural community partners on state programs, Tiana possesses a nuanced understanding of Nevada's complex landscape.
